About the blog
Threadforms is a space for the discussion of sartorial expression, material culture, and the fashion industry broadly speaking. It is, above all, a space for self-expression and reclamation through style.
Founded in 2021, the blog is the brainchild and passion project of Sydney Lewis, a senior at Harvard College and self-described fashionista. Through essays, scholarship, and photography, she is interested in placing fashion in conversation with questions of power, agency, history, and the socio-cultural implications denoted by dress.
